Affiliate hijacking
An affiliate appears in search results for your name and sends your customers to a competitor. We find the affiliate ID. This is the code in a link that shows which affiliate account gets paid. Then we remove the page from Google search in as little as 3 hours.

How affiliates take your customers in igaming, crypto and fintech
iGaming — rotator
A link rotator makes one button send different visits to different casinos. The same path led to one operator at 13:22 and to another at 13:47. The domain and the operator change. Only the affiliate account stays the same.
Crypto and fintech — referral code
A “brand referral code” page appears above you in search results. It links to you, but with its own code. So you pay a bonus for a customer who was already looking for you. For one exchange, pages like this held positions 3–9 in four countries.
The site calls itself official, but the button leads to a competitor

- brand.mx · “Sitio Oficial” · 2 links
- brand.com
- brand.mx · 23 buttons

- rival-brand.mx
The impostor labels its link to you “official site”. But its main button, the one that makes money, goes to a rotator. So we read every link on the page and compare how they look. A styled button counts for more than a plain text link. Method →
How we find it
We click the affiliate's button
We click from an IP address in the country where the page appears in search results. Then we follow each redirect to the final domain. A redirect is a jump from one web address to another. Our verdict depends on where the customer lands, not on how the site looks.
We click more than once
A rotator changes the destination between visits, so we click the button several times. We found the same series of rotators on two brands. When we find a series on one brand, we check all brands for it.
We read every link, not just one button
On 12 of 44 sites, the page had a button to another site, but our check didn't click it. We trace such links separately. One went through a link shortener and a gateway with an encrypted address. It ended on one of the brand's own sites, so the site was an affiliate.
We get the link out of the script
The money link is not in the page code. A script adds it when someone clicks. We find out where it leads. Decloaking →
We won't touch your affiliates
Your list comes first
Before the first complaint, we get your list of affiliates, your own domains and the sites your SEO agency built. We don't touch anything on that list.
We file only after you say “not ours”
For each finding, we show you where the button leads and wait for you to confirm. Without your confirmation, we don't file a complaint.
Where the button leads decides it
An affiliate and a violator look the same. The difference is where the customer lands after the click: with you or with a competitor.
You get a list of affiliate IDs
We send you the affiliate IDs from every page that uses your name. You check them against your affiliate program and see at once who is yours and who isn't.
The path of each finding: found → you confirm “not ours” → complaint filed → platform receipt → taken down → checked again.
You can load your affiliate list directly from your affiliate program: NetRefer, Income Access, Cellxpert, MyAffiliates
A hundred domains, one or two owners
One email instead of 127 complaints
For one brand, 127 domains with its name sent customers to two affiliate accounts. If the accounts are in your affiliate program, you close them there. Then the whole network stops earning.
The account number is in the link
An affiliate link contains the affiliate's account number. The same number on different sites means one person is behind them.
Six sites, one person
Six domains using the brand name sent traffic through one campaign in an ad tracker. Only the site name changed in the links. This is the work of one person, not six.
Paid by both sides
Of 13 identical sites, eight sent customers to the brand and three to competitors. The network owner gets commission from you and from them.
How we take it down
Google and Bing search
median time from complaint to removal. Grounds: your logo or your text on the page
Letter of authorization (LOA): yes
Cloudflare and hosting provider
a site that pretends to be your official site stops loading
LOA: no — fraud complaint
Registrar
the domain with your name stops working
LOA: yes — trademark complaint
If your own affiliate sends customers to a competitor, the affiliate ID is enough. We give you the ID, the domains and the button's path. Then you can close the account or hold back the commission. If a review page doesn't use your logo or text, we push it lower in search results with your own sites. SERM Protection → · All channels and timelines →
FAQ
Will you take down our affiliates?
No. Before the first complaint, we get your affiliate list and a sample affiliate link with an ID. We don't file anything without your “not ours”. An affiliate whose button leads to you gets the verdict “yours” in the report.
An affiliate on our allowlist sends customers to a competitor. Will you see it?
Yes. The allowlist doesn't stop affiliate monitoring. We click an affiliate's button like any other button, and more than once. You get the affiliate ID, the button's path and the date. Then you decide: warn the affiliate, close the account or take the page down.
Isn't it easier to pay the affiliate for our own traffic?
Yes, if their button leads to you and the rate suits you. One exchange had 26 affiliates using its name, and all of them sent customers to the exchange. So the question there was commission, not takedowns. We show where each affiliate appears in search and where its button leads. The decision on the rate is yours.
Do you need an LOA?
Yes, for complaints to search engines and for trademark complaints to registrars. We give you the affiliate ID without an LOA. You close the account in your own program yourself.
